Refund & Cancellation Policy

Quick summary: IRA AI credits are delivered instantly and, like most digital/SaaS products, are non-refundable once added to your account. You can cancel any subscription or trial at any time from your Account page — cancelling stops future billing, but we don't pro-rate or refund the time/credits already used in the current period. The one exception: if you cancel your trial before the conversion date, you are never charged the full subscription price at all. Full details below.

1. Nature of the Service
IRA AI sells access to a digital AI copywriting tool, billed as monthly subscriptions (which include a refreshing pool of generation credits) and one-time top-up credit packs. There is no physical product, and access/credits are delivered instantly upon successful payment. Because of this, and in line with standard digital-goods practice, payments are generally non-refundable once credits have been added to your account — except in the specific situations described below.
2. Free/Discounted Trials & Auto-Conversion
From time to time we offer an introductory trial on certain plans (for example, an 11-day Starter trial for ₹1). Where a trial is offered:
- The trial price, trial length, and the regular price that applies afterward are clearly shown before you authorize payment.
- Trials that use Razorpay's e-mandate/Subscription system will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period and charge the regular plan price, unless you cancel before the trial ends.
- You can cancel your trial at any time — including on the last day — from your Account page. If you cancel before the trial-end date, the auto-conversion charge is stopped and you will not be billed the full subscription price.
- The initial trial payment itself (e.g. the ₹1 trial fee) is non-refundable, as it grants immediate access to trial credits.
3. Cancelling a Subscription
You can cancel an active subscription at any time from your Account page. When you cancel:
- You keep access to your plan and remaining credits until the end of your current paid billing period.
- Your subscription will not renew or be charged again after that.
- We do not provide partial or pro-rated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period you've already paid for.
4. Top-Up Credit Packs
One-time top-up credit packs are charged once, added to your account instantly, and do not expire — but like subscription credits, they are non-refundable once added, since they are delivered immediately and cannot be "returned."
5. When We Do Issue Refunds
We will investigate and, where appropriate, issue a full or partial refund in these situations:
- Duplicate or accidental charge: you were charged more than once for the same purchase due to a checkout or payment-gateway error.
- Payment captured but credits not delivered: Razorpay/Stripe confirms a successful charge, but a technical error on our end means the credits or plan upgrade never reached your account, and our support team can't resolve it by manually crediting your account instead.
- Unauthorized transaction: you can show the payment was made without your authorization (subject to our standard verification process).
- Legal requirement: where applicable consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction entitles you to a refund.
Refund requests outside these situations (for example, "I didn't use my credits" or "I no longer need the subscription") are handled as a plan cancellation per Section 3, not a refund of the current period.
6. How to Cancel or Request a Refund
- To cancel: go to My Account and click "Cancel Subscription." You'll see a confirmation of what happens to your access and billing before you confirm.
- To request a refund: email support@irainfinity.com with your registered email address, the payment ID or order ID (shown in your payment confirmation email and on your Account page under Payment History), and the reason for your request.
7. Refund Timelines
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method via Razorpay or Stripe. Once we approve a refund, it typically takes 5–7 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or card issuer — this part of the timeline is controlled by the payment network, not by us. We'll confirm by email once a refund has been initiated on our end.
